90's Night
In 2006, DJ Phatmike began Boston's first 90's night at the Common Ground in Allston, sparking a five-year (and counting) weekly Friday juggernaut nominated for Best Dance Night in the Phoenix's Best of Boston.
My So Called 90's Night is Boston's first and longest-running 90's Night. It has received accolades from Boston Magazine, Boston Globe, the Metro, the Phoenix, and other local media. DJ Phatmike mixes everything from No Doubt to Spice Girls to Ice Cube and beyond to keep the dance floor ablaze every Friday night. That one-hit wonder you sang along to in middle school, that rock ballad you used for your class song, and that dance anthem that played when you first stepped foot in a club are all par for the course.
Millennium Party
The Millennium Party is what happens after we party like it's 1999. After we emerged from Y2K with our nuclear weapons and personal electronics intact, a new era dawned. In this futuristic frontier, Outkast, the Strokes, Gorillaz, and Justin Timberlake ruled the airwaves. Let DJ Phatmike be your guide back to the days when the Neptunes wrote almost everything and your cell phone could only make phone calls. Saturdays at the Common Ground, The Millennium Party is guaranteed to pump your nostalgia meter up to 11.
